The Duke Women's Club Basketball team was founded by Kirsten Grimm in the Fall of 2001. We hosted our first 5-team, 2-day tournament in the spring of 2002. In the fall of 2002, we joined the East Coast Women's Club Basketball League (ECWCB), which consists of 16 teams ranging from teams in North Carolina - to teams in Pennsylvania. We played 5 tournaments including the championship tourney in Maryland. We are doing quite well for a young team and are continuing to get better.
